If Mansfield is going to be a community of the 21st Century, then our digital presence needs to be fresh, modern and accessible. As someone who has spent most of his professional career in the digital space, I am going to be a vocal advocate on the city council for user-friendly, well-designed technology in city government.

Our government portal should be welcoming and easily laid out so constituents and visitors can find the information they need in a timely manner.  As I tell my website customers, your website is your digital storefront.  If your physical store has dirty windows and peeling paint, would customers want to come in?  The same holds true with your website.

Plus, what other opportunities can technology provide to help provide more efficiency in city government?
